Clinical
Hypnosis is a form of therapy that uses the
power of positive suggestion to tackle simple problems such as nail
biting,
smoking cessation as well as
other isolated occasions like exam nerves,
driving tests
and public speaking , for example speaking in a work environment etc.
Usually suggestion therapy requires
only one or two sessions which combine visualisation, relaxation and
positive suggestions. Therapy using suggestion (or Clinical
Hypnotherapy as it is often called) is not recommended or suitable for
more deep seated problems such as depression, panic attacks and
phobias. These are best dealt with using. Analytical Hypnotherapy
called Pure Hypno-Analysis.

Weight loss
The controlling of
Weight is a popular request , suggestion therapy reprogrammes the mind to
produce positive behaviours in place of unwanted behaviours. As such
hypnotherapy reduces the cravings, unwanted bingings and habitual eating
habits of unhealthy or fattening foods. Replacing these unwanted
behaviours with a sense of pride and achievement.
The therapy consists of positive suggestions being given to a
client under hypnosis and a back up programme to reinforce the suggestions
which will have taken root in the subconscious mind.
For a more intensive weight loss programme
Matthew offers the revolutionary new Shrink programme which
offers the mind a psychological gastric band.
